About Introduction to Web Design

Intro to Website Creation is geared towards teaching non-comp science majors (although they are welcome too) the basics of registering a domain name, designing, and programming their own websites from start to finish. Topics include: design considerations, history of websites, html, frames, css, Adobe Photoshop, javascript and object embedding, and more.

The class met once a week for 2 hours on Tuesday afternoons in the Sewall computer lab. It was a seminar, combining short lectures with student input and independent work. For further details, download: Intro to Web Design syllabus
